The Raccoon iMac

Is anyone other than me bothered by the black bevel that frames the iMac screen? It reminds me of the old pre plug-and-play days when I had to make my screen size bigger to remove the black square of nothingness that surrounded it. I liked the white minimalism of the old iMacs. Why didn't Apple stick with brushed aluminum for the whole design? Maybe the black eyed iMac will grow on me. I'll have to visit my local Apple reseller and see it up front and personal before I make a final decision.
